The LSESU Students for Justice in Palestine is a student-led group committed to Palestinian liberation. It answers the call for the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement and investigates how LSE violates Palestinian rights. The collective is actively involved in political education for the LSE community by promoting the rich Palestinian culture and history. The group is part of a broader network of student societies and youth-led campaigns, joining the international movement for a free Palestine.

On May 14th, the eve of the 76th anniversary of the Nakba, we started our encampment for Palestine. We are currentely occupying the the ground floor of the London School of Economicsβ (LSE) Bloom Building (formerly the Marshall Building), in ongoing protest at the universityβs financial complicity in the genocide of the Palestinian people. Central amongst our demands is the issue of divestment. In line with LSESU Palestine Societyβs 116-page βAssests in Apartheid Reportβ we call on the university to divest its Β£89 million worth of investments in crimes Against the Palestinian people, the arms trade, fossil fuels, and the financing of such egregious activities.
